Yes! Paws On Sea is fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid trained.
Can I meet you before booking?
Absolutely! I offer a free meet and greet before your first booking.
It’s a great chance for me to meet you and your pet, discuss their needs, and make sure we’re a perfect fit.
How do I book a service?
You can contact me directly through my website, social media, email or WhatsApp.
Before your first booking, I ask you to complete an introduction form so I can learn more about your pet’s behaviour, health, and preferences.
How does payment work?
Payment for one-off bookings is due on or before the day of your visit.
Regular clients can choose to pay weekly by invoice.
Payments can be made by card or BACS transfer.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand things happen!
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance – no charge.
- Less than 24 hours – the full amount may still be charged.
This helps me manage our schedule and other clients fairly.
What happens if there’s an emergency?
If your pet becomes unwell or injured, I'll try to contact you or your emergency contact immediately.
If I can’t reach anyone, I’ll act in your pet’s best interests and may take them to a local vet for treatment following professional advice.
Do you walk puppies?
Yes! Once your puppy is fully vaccinated and ready to explore, I can offer gentle solo walks tailored to their age, confidence and individual needs.
For younger puppies who aren’t ready for walks yet, I also offer puppy drop-in visits for toilet breaks, feeding, playtime, enrichment and company.
Walks are always kept appropriate for your puppy, with plenty of time to sniff, explore and build confidence without overdoing it.
Can i book a Home Reset without owning a pet?
Absolutely! Although many of my clients have pets, Home Reset Visits and Home Checks are available to anyone who would like an extra pair of hands around the home.
What’s the difference between a Home Reset Visit and a regular clean?
Home Reset Visits are a little more flexible than a traditional cleaning service. Rather than following the same cleaning routine each visit, we can focus on whatever would make the biggest difference to your home that day.
That might mean general cleaning, tackling the kitchen or bathroom, changing beds, putting laundry away, emptying the dishwasher, tidying or working through those little jobs that have been piling up.
Do I need to book a regular cleaner?
Not at all! Home Reset Visits can be booked as a one-off or on a regular basis, depending on what works best for you.
Can you combine pet care and household tasks?
Absolutely! If time allows, I can combine services such as feeding pets, letting dogs into the garden, watering plants, bringing in post or completing household tasks during the same visit.
What is a Home Reset Visit?
Home Reset Visits are designed to give you an extra pair of hands. They don't have to be a full house clean or a regular commitment. Visits can include general cleaning, laundry, bed changes, tidying, emptying the dishwasher and other household tasks, all tailored to your needs.
What are Home Checks & Extra Help?
Whether you're away from home or just need someone to pop in, visits can include watering plants, bringing in post and parcels, putting bins in or out, carrying out a visual security check, or helping with other small household tasks.
What are Kitchen & Bathroom Resets?
Kitchen & Bathroom Resets are more thorough cleans for rooms that need some extra attention. They go beyond a standard maintenance clean, focusing on built-up grime, limescale, grease and commonly missed areas.
They’re ideal when your kitchen or bathroom needs a bit more TLC, without needing to book a full-house clean.
Each reset is tailored to the space and its priorities, and you can book a kitchen, bathroom or both.
Do I need to tidy before a Home Reset Visit?
Absolutely not! There’s no need to tidy before I arrive. Home Reset Visits are there to take some of the load off, not give you another job to do beforehand.
There’s no judgement, life gets busy and homes get messy. If you’re not going to be home, simply leave me a note with your priorities and I’ll work through as much as I can within the time booked.
